1803 Hooked House

This is the Animal House Pattern by Wooly Woolen which I have been hooking on for months.  I drag it to my girlfriend groups when we hook but don't work on it much at home.  We had BINGO hooking this weekend so I got quite a bit done and finished the rest of the hooking this week.  It's pressed and ready to be finished.  Janice Johnson has some great patterns I recommend you check out her website.  I'm lucky enough I get to take a class from her in May.    Linda

My Sweet Little Deer

Just finished this little sampler for this cute,cute frame......for some reason lately I've been into stitching deers.  I'm trying to get some things off my table next to my stitching chair and this frame has been sitting there for quite some time....glad to see it in a finished form.  It's a pretty small frame (7x3) and has a really neat metal hanger on top.

I've also been busy working on the piece I am going to do for the Prim Sisters club offered through Country Sampler in Spring Green, Wisconsin.  Jeanne the store owner contacted me earlier this year to see if I would be interested in being a guest designer for this club.  How fun does that sound!!!!  Here is the link to the website if you want to read about it http://sgcountrysampler.com/wp/girls-club/  I will offering the kit that comes out this July/August. 

I also hope to get a hooked rug finished this weekend when my hooking group has BINGO day.   We hook all day and play an occasional game of BINGO (everybody brings (2)  $2 prizes.  If I get it hooked, I'll be sure to post a picture to share.

Lone Deer Sampler

I just finished stitching a reproduction of an antique sampler I own....I love the little saying it has.....I am a little thing and very full of sin but Jesus shed his precious blood to make me clean within.  I can just imagine a little girl sitting in her chair with big eyes as someone tells her this Easter story.....I will have this charted up soon.

The Kris Kringle Markets of Germany

If you have never been to Germany during Christmas time you need to add this to your bucket list.  Here are some pictures from my trip to the Kris Kringle Markets.  These are markets set up around the center of "old" town sometimes located next to churches that were built in the 1200's; they sell all sort of handmade gift items, chocolates, candles, scarves, hats, and on and on and on...... enjoy the photos and may you and your families have a Merry Christmas!  My New Year's resolution - make more blogs posts and stitch more in 2013......  Linda

Walk the Old Path

Finally I'm done with this sampler....seems like its been a busy fall.  I have charted this pattern and is available for purchase.  I'm going to start working on Christmas gifts and Christmas shopping......can't believe it is time for that already.  Hope everyone is having a great fall.  Linda
