My Sweet Little Deer

Just finished this little sampler for this cute, cute frame......for some reason lately I've been into stitching deers.  I'm trying to get some things off my table next to my stitching chair and this frame has been sitting there for quite some time....glad to see it in a finished form.  It's a pretty small frame (7x3) and has a really neat metal hanger on top.

I've also been busy working on the piece I am going to do for the Prim Sisters club offered through Country Sampler in Spring Green, Wisconsin.  Jeanne the store owner contacted me earlier this year to see if I would be interested in being a guest designer for this club.  How fun does that sound!!!!  Here is the link to the website if you want to read about it http://sgcountrysampler.com/wp/girls-club/  I will offering the kit that comes out this July/August.

I also hope to get a hooked rug finished this weekend when my hooking group has BINGO day.   We hook all day and play an occasional game of BINGO (everybody brings (2)  $2 prizes.  If I get it hooked, I'll be sure to post a picture to share.

Hope all is well with you and wonder if you are looking forward to springing forward as much as I.

  1. This is so sweet! I love the deer! The frame is just so perfectly rustic for it. It is so wonderfully prim!

Have fun with your BINGO! Sounds like a blast!

  2. Your hooking BINGO sounds like lots of fun!
    Love your deer samplers.
    Hugs :)

  3. How how I miss playing BINGO with you guys!!! Tell everyone I said HI! I hope to see you hooked rug soon! Love the little deer sampler too!

  4. Hi, Linda.
I was in the Prim Sisters Club last year and I am again this year. I'm so glad that you're designing for the club! Reading Jeanne's blog and her newsletter about her search for 2 new designers for the club -- I kept thinking, "pick The Pinkeep..." I love deer!!! Love this design. Looking forward to your club kits.

  5. Love your work. I never thought I would appreciate primitive until I took a class working with wool. Love the deer!
