Here is a small sampler that I've been working on (7 1/4 x 9 1/4). Only uses three colors of floss. I'm trying out a new charting software and so far am very pleased with how it works (thanks Primitive Betty for your recommendation). This pattern can be found under my Patterns tab! Enjoy Linda

Mary Ann Danniels - 1865
Well here it is, the sampler I've been working on for the last two months......that last row never seems to come. The first picture is the original sampler and the other pictures are my reproduction. My favorite part is the dull thread colors and the band of birds in the middle .....how sweet is that......their own little parade. It is a larger sampler and measures 12 1/2 x 17 framed....I stitched on 28 count linen... The pattern is for sale on my pattern page. Linda

Oh Lord My Strength
It seems like I have quite the collection of size 4 x 12 1/2 frames.....anyone else????? I really didn't think it would be so difficult to come up with something to stitch in such a narrow width but it was hard. I just finished charting the pattern....I went all out with this one and used 5 different colors of floss including a mauve/pink....which I typically don't use.....now I'm off to chart a really fun sampler can't wait to share it with you.
I love you O Lord my Strength - Psalms 18:1............. Happy Friday! Linda

1803 Hooked House
This is the Animal House Pattern by Wooly Woolen which I have been hooking on for months. I drag it to my girlfriend groups when we hook but don't work on it much at home. We had BINGO hooking this weekend so I got quite a bit done and finished the rest of the hooking this week. It's pressed and ready to be finished. Janice Johnson has some great patterns I recommend you check out her website. I'm lucky enough I get to take a class from her in May. Linda

My Sweet Little Deer
Just finished this little sampler for this cute, cute frame......for some reason lately I've been into stitching deers. I'm trying to get some things off my table next to my stitching chair and this frame has been sitting there for quite some time....glad to see it in a finished form. It's a pretty small frame (7x3) and has a really neat metal hanger on top.
I've also been busy working on the piece I am going to do for the Prim Sisters club offered through Country Sampler in Spring Green, Wisconsin. Jeanne the store owner contacted me earlier this year to see if I would be interested in being a guest designer for this club. How fun does that sound!!!! Here is the link to the website if you want to read about it http://sgcountrysampler.com/wp/girls-club/ I will offering the kit that comes out this July/August.
I also hope to get a hooked rug finished this weekend when my hooking group has BINGO day. We hook all day and play an occasional game of BINGO (everybody brings (2) $2 prizes. If I get it hooked, I'll be sure to post a picture to share.
Hope all is well with you and wonder if you are looking forward to springing forward as much as I.
